From the moment we arrived, our guides, drivers and all plans were perfect. All the airport pickups and drop-offs were there on time, all guides were knowledgable and friendly and all hotels were very good. All we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves !
I would like to particularly mention and praise Mr. Sai Sai, our trekking guide in Keng Tung.
His knowledge of the local hill tribes and their customs was exceptional. In addition to very good English, he also speaks Ahka dialect, Shan dialect and some Lahu dialect. With his knowledge of these languages, we were able to have conversations with many of the local villagers that we met on the hill tribe treks.
I will certainly recommend your services to any of my friends who plan to visit SE Asia.

I want to thank you and Myanmar Travel for a fantastic holiday experience. Thank you for fitting in with our requirements, organizing airfares, boat trip, and transfers. The connections were seamless. The guides - in particular at Inle Lake -were very knowledgeable and helpful. Being met at the end of flights by easily recognizable signs and helped with check ins at airports was priceless. All the accommodation was very good - in particular the Amata in Ngapali.
The Cruise from Mandalay to Bagan, that you recommended and booked for us, with Pandaw, was a highlight of the tour. The 3 level boat was perfect and the staff brilliant.
Once again thanks to everyone involved with our trip. I will have no hesitation recommending Myanmar travel to any of our friends who are considering travelling to Myanmar in the future.

MYANMAR DISCOVERY (Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo – Bagan – Mandalay – Inle Lake – Ngapali Beach) from 25 Dec to 11 Jan 2016
Good evening Mr. Hieu Ha
Yes, Mrs. S. Waser broke her left hand while slipping on a wet floor outside her bungalow at the Thandwe Beach Hotel. She spent the whole afternoon at the Thandwe Hospital getting x-rayed and obtaining a plaster. We are quite thankful to the hotel manager Isabella, who, together with Cecile Burgauer, accompanied her and helped as much as they could.
Now to the trip. Every transfer, ground transport, flight booking, hotel reservation and sightseeing tour worked perfectly well. We were warmly received wherever we went. What struck as most was the extreme friendliness of the Myanmar people and the not yet spoiled attitude towards tourists as it is the case in some neighbouring countries.
The Ananda Sanctuary cruise was what it promised. Excellent food, good staff, luxury rooms and a pleasant atmosphere. The lady guide Phu Phu was very professional giving information about Myanmar and convincing with her general knowledge.
Also to point out is the kind and caring guiding at the Inle Lake by Mr. Ye. We can recommend him highly.
We felt that some other guides need to improve their English and should be somewhat more functional and dynamic when it comes to oversee and control the travel activities.
What might help as improvement is giving advance information that the last part of the transportation to the Golden Rock is made by lorries carrying up to 40 persons squeezed body to body. Not that we dread mixing with the local people but the waiting time, the noise, the masses gathering at the base camp were a bit difficult to bear. When our lorry had a battery problem we organised a separate transport at only USD 120 for us six persons. This we would gladly have done when making the initial bookings.
Also were we disappointed that the balloon trip in Bagan could not be arranged. Had Myanmar Travel right at the beginning pointed out that it is an absolute most to book – instead of merely mentioning “optional”- we would of course have done so.
The only hotel which we found a bit overrated is the Mandalay Hill Resort with somewhat cool handling of the clients and high, almost European prices, for food and drinks.
Yet in the whole it was a very successful trip with great experiences and impressions of this loveable country. That’s why we would like to thank you warmly for planning, organising and carry out our memorable holyday in a very professional way.

A VERY BIG THANK YOU DZUNG for organizing for me a "MAGICAL TRIP" to Myanmar. It is a really beautiful country and the people are equally beautiful in every way. I re-iterate that "your" personal professionalism and organization of my trip was OUTSTANDING and this followed through also with my actual trip. I have already been recommending MYANMAR TRAVEL to many of my friends.
Your Tour Guides were all extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and did everything in their power to accommodate my requests. This also applies to your Drivers.
If I may have a favourite Tour Guide it was EiEi at Inle Lake - she was absolutely delightful and allowed me plenty of space to savour each experience while also giving me the necessary information. Just some info on the hotels I chose. MY HOTEL - YANGON
From a POSITION point of you view this Hotel was EXCELLENT! Just 10 minutes walk through a lovely park to the Schwedagon Pagoda and a MOST MAGNIFICENT view from the turret room with small balcony right at the top of the hotel ROOM 902. The room was big and pleasant but very ordinary. There are 16 steps up to the room from the dining room so not good for people with walking difficulties. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The diningroom also has a lovely view of the Schwedagon Pagoda. If anyone stays there they should ask for Room 902 or a room facing the Pagoda.
BAGAN KING HOTEL - MANDALAY
This is a very BEAUTIFUL Exclusive Hotel designed throughout in magnificent Burmese style. Magnificent dining area on the top floor with windows opening out to a view of the city. The rooms were all beautifully decorated - higher up is better away from traffic noise. Close to the Palace. Definitely one of the better hotels in Mandalay.
ROYAL BAGAN HOTEL - BAGAN
Again definitely one of the better hotels in BAGAN near to the old city. Fresh and inviting interior with lovely pool area. Very pleasant staff. A delightful vegetarian Restaurant to visit in BAGAN is THE MOON – be friendly to animals Restaurant - highly recommended.
BRILLIANT HOTEL - INLE LAKE
A very pleasant hotel with wonderfully accommodating owners – like home from home. Pleasant rooms. Lovely rooftop area to sip cocktails and watch the sunset.
Downside is that it is far from the town. Tuk tuk is a very reasonable Kyatt 2 000 organized by the Owner.
If I may just make a suggestion regarding the information given to us by your very knowledgeable Tour Guides. While a realise that they are doing their job extremely efficiently and imparting with as much information they can in the short time one has, I did feel that in some instances that I had an "information overload" to a point where I am finding it difficult to remember much about many of the pagodas, stupas etc. we visited.
In order not to be rude one needs to face the Tour Guide while this info is being imparted and often one would really like to be taking photos or just savoring the moment.
Perhaps the office could offer the client the lenghtly type written info on paper and the Tour Operator could give the client just a short explanation of each site visited or even offer the client the option of a long verbal explanation or a short one with written info. Nice too to have the typed info to go through again to refresh one's memory once one gets home.
Please kindly pass on my most sincere thanks to all your staff who made this trip so pleasurable for me.
I am presently sitting at home savouring my beautiful trip and hesitate to go out to face "the real world"!!

We are just arrived at home. The travel was really well organized and we want to thank you fot your perfect work.
The hotels were very good - expecially in Bagan but also the other were OK( the breakfast in ShangriLa in Yangon is mitic) . In Bagan there was a nightly noise from pagoda until 4 am but the staff gave us ear protection.. The guides are very prepared and ready to help expecially Ms Thinzar Hlaine in Bagan that we appreciate very much for kindness and professionality.
We think to you for preparing future trips! You can organize boat trips in Myeik archipelago? or in the north in Chin state? Probably will be interested also to a trip in Laos. Let me know for the future.

We are back now from Myanmar and I just wanted to say thank you so much for organising a wonderful trip for us. We had an absolutely fantastic time and have taken away such lovely memories.
I wasn’t able to get the feedback form to the guide in Yangon, so I just wanted to let you know that the guides and the drivers were all fantastic and knowledgeable – I would particularly like to recommend Nay for the birding in the Chin Mountains, and Toto who met us at Kalaw and trekked with us to Inle and then showed us around the lake – they both were exceptional. The accommodation was also great – the Chatrium was very comfortable, Treasure Resort was lovely – especially when we got moved to the first row of bungalows with views actually out across the lake. The accommodation in the Chin Mountains was very, very basic – I know that you had warned us about this. There is another resort just up the road, called Pine View I think, and I would definitely recommend this over the one we had – although the staff were lovely.
Anyway, thank you again. Everything ran like clockwork.

Re Hotels, they were all OK, but the Shangri La in Yangon didn't have a very welcoming dining/breakfast room. It was very noisy and chaotic even though the staff was very polite. I think this will help for future customers.

I worked with Dzung in the months and weeks leading up to my trip and she was more than helpful. There were 3 of us traveling and we had different arrivals and departures but Dzung worked around us all and managed our flights and accommodation. From the moment we arrived in Myanmar til we left 9 days later we were well looked after. Our tours were well organised with someone arriving every day at our hotel to collect us, show us the sights, recommend great local restaurants for lunch and dinner and then drop us back later, all in the comfort of an air-conditioned van. Our tour guides were really well informed and spoke great English which was really helpful in our overall understanding of what we were seeing and doing each day. I'd highly recommend Myanmar travel to anyone I know going to the region. They took all the stress out of our trip, organised everything so well with a packed itinerary full of all the highlights, and for great value. As I said in the mail just barely landed Tuesday, everything worked like a perfect machine, and this is just about you and to your utmost professionalism and seriousness. I am very proud to have arranged with you, with you of Asia Travel & Leisure. And I add that I enjoyed so much just to organize it with you step by step. Now the specific trip really have nothing to say, even the May Aung guide was really friendly, polite and looked after us well.
Hotels all very beautiful from Sule Sangri-La Yangon to Top Mountain which, though more modest, one must take into account where you are. Maybe that a little 'out of tune is the Mandalay Hill Resort, too different from the landscape of Mandalay. Also very very expensive for dinner without quality / price ratio
Beautiful really Treassure Inle Resort, truly magical atmosphere, perhaps our favorite of this trip.
Magic to die the Aureum Palace. Perhaps the Amara Mountain Kalaw a bit 'too isolated, but we had a dinner in the garden really magical that we liked very much.
Internal flights, some delays but okay!
The drivers always very precise and punctual. The number is the driver of Yangon :-)
The services, the positions of the rooms perfect.
So Hue not know what to say :-)))

Now I wanted to tell you that if you need to give my references to someone of Italian go ahead counting on me, do it very willingly, and of course I myself speak to you with my friends that maybe could be in that area. I recommend counting on me for anything.

MANDALAY
The hotel was very good and the guide Win Zao Oo was very good too. Explained us very well everything. He speaks outstanding english.
BAGAN
excellent hotel with swimming pool too. Very clean and comfortable.
Guide Soe Win: excellent, he did anything to make up happy and he showed us as much as he could.
Besides visiting all most interesting Pagoda sites, we had a horse ride through the land of Pagodas, we had a river cruise and excellent dinner with show included.
He knew everything about Bagan as he was born in old Bagan .he spoke great english too.
YANGON
Great guide, mr. Aung Aung.
He showed us as many things as he could. We asked him so many question and he was always ready to answer and to explain.
We wished so much to see the house of the Lady and he drove us there too.
Wonderful visit to the most popular pagoda in Yangon to see the sun set.
All drivers very excellent and they did a great job too.
We met only for a few hours the guide who drove us to the airpor, Mr. Aong Soe Thu. A great person too.
On the way to the airport he explained us many things, also the particular moments Myanmar is living now.

This is to thank you for the wonderful trip we had to Myanmar. The whole logistics were well organised and the tour guides were very professional. Some of them were asking for a feedback form and I informed them that I do not have one and if a form is sent to me email, I will gladly fill it.
The tour guide in Yangon, Mr. Win was excellent and had a lot of knowledge. The driver and the car were very good. The driver was able to speak a little English. The tour guide in Bagan was fine. The Driver could not speak any English at all. The Car (VAN) provided was not good. The direct drive from Bagan to Mandalay is supposed to take about 3.5 hours and it took us more than 5 hours. We skipped Mt. Popo and drove directly to Mandalay with 1 stop on the way to see the palm sugar factory. Mandalay was excellent and the tour guide, Mr. Herbert Htun was very good and knowledgeable. On the whole, the trip was very enjoyable. The consultant should have suggested other things to do apart from seeing Pagodas and shrines. We managed to do this after changing our itinerary on the 27th October to go to Pyin oo Lin.

Yes, we had a fantastic trip to Myanmar and overall it was perfect J with the itinerary, the guides, the drivers, the hotels and of course because of the country Myanmar itself and also because of you and your company of courseJ About the guide in Mandalay: I am sure he will improve over the years as he is still very young and there is also a lot of potential.
All the guides were very friendly and did their best. The guide in Bagan was excellent as well as the lady guide (I i) at Inle Lake. She was absolutly the best of all and impressed us very much.
Mandalay Hill Hotel: the lobby, restaurant and bar are nice as well as the food was very good but the rooms need a fresh-up. I know that we even had a better room category than standard.
Amara Ocean Resort: The Resort and the surounding of this hotel, especially the beach is absolutly fantastic, (you should take a beach front bungalow here, what we did). Second row of the bungalows seems to me a bit overpaid, as beach front has much more benefit, the view, own beach chairs in front of bungalow, direct access to beach etc).
But what Amara really must improve is the quality of the food. They have an extrem wide range of dishes (European, Asian, International) but the style how the dishes were cooked seemed to us rather poor, not really tasty and extremly expenses in comparison to other great hotels we stayed in on our trip. They really should shorten the menue and improve the taste of the dishes a lot to a higher standard.
If we should come back to Myanmar we definitly would book with you again and will recommand your company at all times.

Our group enjoyed the trip, which exceeded our expectations. Overall, we gave top marks.
- The tour guides in each of the places had good knowledge, spoke well, were attentive to our needs and took good care of us.
- It was much appreciated that the 3rd single bed in each of the hotels were sturdy beds / double full mattress on the floor instead of rickety spring beds. Hotels were good, although some of my friends complained of mosquitos in the room (seemed to only bite them), and the hotel in Bagan had a power blackout for a period of time such that I had to clean up and find my way out of the toilet in total darkness.
- Drivers drove well and I felt safe. It would have been great if the cars were newer. There were passenger seat belts but nowhere to buckle the seat belts.
Overall well done to all and your efforts in coordination. We have already recommended Myanmar Travel to our friends.

Thank you for your letter of thanks. The truth is it was a very interesting trip and well programmed by your side. We were very impressed by everything we saw in this beautiful country. I had long wanted to get closer to that area, but after this trip have been satisfied and we can understand a little better your culture and idiosyncrasy, even being so different from ours. The weather was great and your companions, guides and drivers were very professional and friendly.
As aspects to improve, I can only mention that the trip is not adapted to 100% of the planned program, for example a visit to a monastery to contemplate the life of the monks and their meals, due to the fact that our arrival to the country first day was a little late and the last day of our departure was very early. However I was compensated with the professionalism and dedication of the guide who never leave us alone in any planned activity, even checking in the airport because we had any doubt about boarding passes on the back plane. To summarize practically the trip was wonderful.

HIGHLIGHTS OF MYANMAR from 12-21 Aug 2015

Thank you so much for your follow up. My flight back home was long but according to plan. Unfortunately during my flight from Hong Kong to Chicago (on August 25th) I developed a very high fever (39.3 °C). Upon my arrival to Mexico I was diagnosed to have “Dengue” (name in Spanish) which is a virus that was transmitted to me by a mosquito bite while I was in Myanmar (it takes 4 to 8 days for the symptoms to show up after being infected). This information is important so you can prevent any future travelers of the possibility of getting this disease in Myanmar.
Regarding our actual travel experience, Myanmar is a beautiful country, rich in culture and heritage. The places you recommended to visit were spectacular. The services provided by your company were excellent (transportation and tour guides, very friendly, knowledge full, respectful, gracious and willing to serve ). The hotels you recommended were excellent as well, both in terms of their physical facilities and the services provided by their staffs. Breakfasts were not always “the best” but they make a good effort … besides, perhaps they are the best alternatives available (regarding breakfast).
I would not hesitate one bit to recommend your services to any person traveling to SE Asia. I would most definitively use your services again. Everything, starting from your understanding of our needs, your initial recommendations, your prompt and assertive responses always offering the right and best solutions to my questions, and the actual travel experience with the staff and hotels that you provided. I am very happy I found you and I certainly did not make a mistake choosing you.

I wanted to make a special mention of the guide that helped us in the last stage, Bagan. All guides were good, but we think Kyaw was the best.
If I had to put a negative note, I think the Hotel in Mandalay is not up to the excellent selection of the other ones. Also, we think that the journey by road between Mandalay and Bagan didn´t contribute anything special to the trip.

Mandalay, amount of time was perfect. The hotel next to the Red Canal, the customer service was the best in the 7 weeks we were away, big call! the tour guide, (we knew as C) was great.
Bagan nice hotel, good guide, amazing place.
The drive from Kalaw to Inle Lake was sensational. Kalaw was not a highlight, but when we were picked up by our new guide Esther and the trip to Inle we knew were on a great journey. The accommodation at Inle lake was brilliante. The next day we did 67.75 Kilometers on the lake, again one of the best days of sightseeing.Keep Esther on your books!
Last day in Yangon, again just the correct amount of time!

I thank you very much for the trip. I have travelled before in the same way (with a driver and a guide) in the last years and I recognize the quality of your service (this was my third travel in your area, the south-east Asia). I will surely suggest your agency to my friends, collegues and partners if they wil decide to visit your wonderful country (they have seen my pictures and they think Myanmar is one of the most beautiful place in the world).
For helping you to improve the quality of the next trips you will organize, I can give you the following opinions about my travel:
• We had a sadly arrive in the airport of Yangon because of the visa on the passports. In fact, unfortunately, the controls were not well done and many people had to wait for much time for having the passport back (we gave the passport to autorities and they keep it for a while). The problem was that we couldn't ask for them (there were guides of other groups that continued to search the passport of their guests) and for this reason we have lost much time;
• Some hotels, as I wrote on the questionnaire, didnt give the quality of the service we guessed. This is not a big problem, I am used to travel and I know that sometime this thing can happen.
For ending, the guides and the drivers have been very serious and professional. The choice of the plan was well decided and so the time and the way to transfer from a place to the following.

Dear Mr. Hieu Ha,
just now we stay in Mandalay till tomorrow about 2 pm. Then we have a very long travelling time via Bangkok and Doha to Munich.
The Myanmar Tour was very impressive for us, that tour was one of the very best we ever had. Our Guide, Mr. Naing Zaw, was the best guide we ever had. From the first minute to the last minute the service was constantly perfect. It could not be better. Mr. Naing Zaw has a very good knowledge about the places in Myanmar, he speaks fluently English and if we needed a help, he assists us perfectly. From him we learned much about that wonderful country with its friendly people. He always showed us the very best places and took place into account to our wishes and interests exactly. One of the highlights was the visit of an initiation ceremony in Bagan, where we have been the only foreigners in the middle of many local people. He realized very quickly, that we usually like to go by our own. First he provided us with very good information and then he was virtually invisible. But if we needed help or we had a question, he was on our side in the next second. Perfect.
And also, Mr. Kyaw Min Htun is a perfect driver. All the time we felt very save in the comfortable car. Both of them have been very very helpful and friendly.
We gained a great experience of the history of Myanmar, its culture and the friendly people. We had a wonderful and interesting time together with our guide Mr. Naing Zaw and our driver Mr. Kyaw Min Htun and together with the Myanmar people. Such friendly people in many countries you cannot find. We have made many pictures and videos as a memory to our time in Myanmar.
And also the planning phase through Myanmar Travel/Asia Travel & Leisure was perfect and very fast. We have got a very good impression from your company. Next year at about the same time we plan to go a second time to Myanmar, to the region about the Inle lake and for visiting the old tribes around and maybe some other places. In November/December we will plane the places. We would be very pleased if we could perform the second Myanmar tour again with Mr. Naing Zaw.
