ITINERARY

Day 1: Mandalay Arrival
Upon arrival in Mandalay, our driver & tour guide are awaiting to pick you up to transfer to your hotel. Rest of the time is at leisure.
Your highlight is the welcome dinner in a fine restaurant.

Day 2: Mandalay – Mingun - sightseeing
Known as the hub of Buddhism in Myanmar, Mandalay has realm of stupas, monks and monasteries. The most fascinating visit will be the time you witness monks during their worship and daily meals.
Embarking on a private boat upstream to visit Mingun, famed for its huge and incomplete Pahtodawgyi Pagoda and Mingun Bell, the 90-ton ringing bell.
In the afternoon, visit Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery – noted for its exquisite woodcarvings, gold leaf beating workshop and Kuthodaw Pagoda – known for containing the world’s largest book and conclude the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and the panoramic view of the city.

Day 3: Mandalay – Sagaing – Amarapura – Fly to Bagan
In the morning, drive to Amarapura for Ubein Wooden Bridge, the longest teakwood of its type and the nearby Mahagandaryone Monastery. Amarapura is the best place to experience the monk life in Mandalay. Every day at mid-morning, monks and novices line up silently to receive their daily offering of alms and food from faithful Buddhists. In the morning, drive to Amarapura for Ubein Wooden Bridge, the longest teakwood of its type and the nearby Mahagandaryone Monastery. Amarapura is the best place to experience the monk life in Mandalay. Every day at mid-morning, monks and novices line up silently to receive their daily offering of alms and food from faithful Buddhists. Next, head to Sagaing, discover the monk education, visit Budda cave, Uminthonze pagoda and Sunooponnyashin pagoda. Behold the panoramic view of Mandalay.We then cross the river by ferry to Inwa (Ava), situated on the banks of the Irrawaddy River. Once a royal capital, Inwa is now a quiet rural oasis. Enjoy a horse cart ride around the peaceful countryside, visiting Bagaya Kyaung, a beautiful teak wood monastery, Maha Aungmyay Bonzan Kyaung, and Nan Myint tower. Late afternoon, take a short flight to Bagan.

Day 4: Bagan Discovery
Bagan is Myanmar’s archaeological wonderland, where over 3,000 ancient temples blossom from the countryside. Start your tour with a trip to the bustling Nyang U Market in Old Bagan then explore the beautiful, gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and learn about Burmese Buddhist traditions. We continue our tour with a visit to Ananda Temple, stopping along the way on the Bagan plains to admire some of the surrounding temples. In the afternoon, take a tour of a local lacquer ware workshop and learn how this traditional piece of art is made. The highlight of today is the panoramic sunset view over Bagan Plain.

Day 5: Bagan sightseeing – Fly to Yangon
After breakfast, start with an exotic horse cart ride to one of the biggest temples in Bagan: Nan Paya Pagoda and many other interesting sites nearby, continue with sightseeing to Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple, take note of the architectural difference in MyaZedi Pagoda before heading to Manuha Temple. Flight to Yangon end of the day.

Day 6: Yangon city tour
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a full day guided city tour to discovery the most highlights of busting formal capital Yangon. We first take an hour circle train experience to discovery the insight of local people’s life. Disembark at Insein Market for sightseeing around this market where you will explore deeply the local’s life. Our next stop is Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda’s 70m long reclining Buddha. Then we head to Sule Pagoda. It is believed to enshrine a strand of hair of the Buddha. From Sule Pagoda, we embark on an orientation walk to Chinese Town, covering exotic streets of Yangon downtown and British Colonial building as Emmanuel Church, Inland Water Buildings.
Continue to Bogyoke Market. Formerly named Scott’s Market, it is now the main tourist destination where you can find antique, Burmese handicrafts & jewelry shops, art galleries & clothing stores. Late afternoon, visit Shwedagon pagoda – the most prominent monument in Yangon which dominates the sky with golden flash, giant spires and holy relics.

Day 7: Yangon – Bangkok – Vientiane
Stay at leisure and check out your hotel. Our driver will take you to the airport for the flight to Vientiane transit via Bangkok.
On arrival in Vientiane, you will be welcomed by our local tour guide and get transferred to hotel in Vientiane – the country’s charming capital, with its laidback riverside ambience, and alluring monuments.

Day 8: Vientiane City Tour
Today we have a full day to explore Vientiane - the charming and fascinating capital of Laos, one of the classic Indo Chinese cities which conjure up exotic images, with its intriguing mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, American and Soviet influences. Our visit will take you to the key sites: National Museum, Wat Sisaket the city‘s oldest surviving temple with thousands of silver and porcelain images in the gloriously authentic temple compound that offers you a glimpse into the Vientiane of the past, the next stop is Haw Phra Kaeo. This large temple is beautiful both interiorl and exterior, it was built to house the famed Emerald Buddha in courtyards filled with frangipani trees.
In the afternoon a stop at the older part of Morning market is recommended before the visit Pha That Luang. The giant golden stupa is a sight to see as the bright gold holds a sharp contrast to the pure blue sky. Next you will go to climb the Arc De Triomphe of Laos, Patuxai. The massive arch has a beautiful mosaic tiled ceiling and once at the top you can see for miles around Vientiane.

Day 9: Vientiane – fly to Luang Prabang – Kuangsi waterfall
Have breakfast in the hotel and the car will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival at the airport, you are welcomed and driven to hotel in town for check in. Gain a deeper understanding of Lao culture at Wat Visoun with its iconic Watermelon Stupa and Wat Aham with the altar of Luang Prabang’s two respected geniuses. In the afternoon we will enjoy a short visit through the Luang Prabang countryside to Kuang Si Waterfalls. You will have a chance to make the most of beautiful landscapes of rice fields, hills, and small villages. Upon reaching Kuang Si Waterfall, relax and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. Sitting under the shade of big trees and swimming or jumping up and down in the pools can be relaxing and enjoyable. The water tumbles down a large drop and cascades gently in to several cool, clear pools where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. We drive back to the town in the late afternoon.

Day 10: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave
After breakfast, you will take the cruise along a Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves, where you will discover gold-lacquered Buddha statues of all shapes and sizes nestled deep in the limestone caverns. Embark on a cultural tour of Luang Prabang in the afternoon, you will explore the gilded temples such as Wat Mai, we will visit the former king’s palace, which is now a Royal Palace Museum and Wat Xieng Thong dotted across the city.

Day 11: Luang Prabang Departure
Have breakfast in the hotel and enjoy your free time then transfer to Luang Prabang airport for your onward flight.
